It seems the slurry from drilling the well moved the concrete block out from under the waterer to the point it could run over the side. This created a big old mess. After putting the block back however the waterer started leaking else were and had to be pulled. I then found (by pressure gauges and shut-offs)there is still a leak inside somewhere even though I did not see any other wet spots. So I ended up having to shut off the water to most of the outside faucets.
